Dallewal refused to shift to a temporary hospital

Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal has again rejected the offer of proper treatment by the high-level team of health experts and the state government formed for his health care. They also refused to be shifted to the temporary hospital established near the protest site. He has refused to take medicine or fluids. After the orders given by the Supreme Court to admit Dallewal to the hospital till December 31, Patiala Range DIG Mandeep Singh Sidhu, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav, SSP Dr. A team including Nanak Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Isha Singal and others came back to celebrate the farmer leader on Saturday evening. The team offered Dallewal to be shifted to a hospital for medical aid, but the farmer leader flatly refused. The team said that the medical team of Rajindra Medical College and Mata Kaushalya Hospital Patiala is deployed for continuous care of the farmer leader’s health. The officials also appealed to the farmer leader to take necessary medicines and fluids for health care while continuing the agitation. They also gave the Kisan leader an option to transfer to Rajindra Medical College or Mata Kaushalya Hospital. The team also appealed to the farmer leader to shift to a makeshift hospital set up 700 meters from the protest site, which is equipped with all emergency medicines and equipment. A team of expert doctors has been deployed 24 hours a day in this make shift hospital and other necessary equipment is also available.
