Earlier, the name of this group was revealed behind the cyber attacks on South Korea. In 2020, the US Homeland Security Department said in an advisory that the rulers of North Korea have put this group on the work of gathering intelligence from all over the world. In the latest case, hackers have targeted South Korean journalists, researchers and human rights activists. Through this fishing attack, emails were sent from the URL that uses South Korea’s army.
Hacker is getting jobs with the help of AI
This hacker group of North Korea has started taking help of AI to gather intelligence information. Last month, the tech company Anthropic said that North Korea’s hackers are working for them by getting jobs in American companies with the help of AI. They make their fake IDs with the help of AI tools and pass the tests of those companies. OpenAI said in February this year that it has suspended many such accounts of North Korea, which were creating fake resumes, cover letters and social media posts.
