Dausa Borewell Update: Child stuck in borewell for 46 hours, rescue operation continues to get out

The operation to save a five-year-old boy who fell into a borewell while playing in Dausa is still going on after 46 hours on Wednesday. Speaking to ANI, rescue officer Yogesh said, “We have dug a 35 meter deep pit and another 46 to 48 meters need to be dug to save the boy.

We are doing our best and trying to complete rescue operations today.”

Earlier on Tuesday, an Xcmg 180 piling rig machine was brought to the spot to dig a 150 feet deep tunnel near the borewell to rescue the child. According to district administration officials, the child was at a depth of about 150 feet and his condition is said to be stable. The child is at a depth of about 150 feet and is being given continuous oxygen. Medical team is on the spot.

Teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and Civil Defense have also arrived and are carrying out relief work. On the occasion, the District Magistrate of Dausa said that rescue efforts are being made and the condition of the child is fine. ANI
