Degree distribution ceremony was held here today in Arya Kanya College. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Kurukshetra University Prof. Som Nath Sachdeva attended as the chief guest. The NCC cadets under the leadership of Capt. Jyoti Sharma, head of the Sanskrit department of the college, gave the guard of honor to the chief guest. Principal of the college Dr. Aarti Terehan welcomed them. The degree distribution ceremony started with the dignitaries lighting a lamp in front of Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, and the female students of the music department performed Saraswati Vandana. The coordinator of the ceremony Dr. Head of Physical Education Department. Sonia Malik introduced the chief guest. Later, President of the College Management Committee Ram Lal Bansal welcomed the Chancellor. Dr. Aarti Terehan presented the report of the college session 2023-24. Chief Guest Prof. Som Nath Sachdeva said in his address that everyone needs to be made aware towards employment. Youth power should focus more on skill development. This is the basic aim of the modern education system. In order to brighten their future to the students, he defined the word Arya and said that everyone has to accept the changes that have taken place today. He distributed degrees to 58 female students of Commerce, Hindi, Fine Arts, Science, Mathematics and 191 students of Computer, Science, Commerce and Arts from 2018-19 to 2022-23. Vishnu Bhagwan Gupta, Treasurer of the College Management Committee, thanked them for everything. The chief guest was given a memento by the management of the college. On this occasion, former principal of the college and member of the management committee Raman Kanta, Kapil Gupta, former principal Dr. Bharti Bandhu, Principal of MN College Dr. Dr. Ashok Chaudhary, former principal of MDSD College Ambala. Kiran Angra, Prof. Jawaharlal, Arya School Principal Rekha Setia were present.

An appeal to female students to be friends with time

Kurukshetra University Vice Chancellor Prof. Som Nath Sachdeva appealed to the girl students to be friends with the times. He inspired to love Swadesh, love and Swadeshi things. He inspired the female students to work by setting the goal of their life and asked them to always keep their goal high and strive for it. He said that along with studies, it is important to focus on becoming employment oriented.
