A painful incident came to light from Siddharth Basti of Delhi’s Sunlight Colony police station area on Saturday afternoon, where a 20 -year -old married woman hanged her life.
The deceased has been identified as Sadhana. The shocking thing was that before the suicide, the deceased made a live video, in which she was making serious allegations of harassment on her husband Yogesh and in -laws. In the video, Sadhana said, “I am fighting, now I am going.”
Married a year ago
A year ago, there was a court marriage of Sadhana with Yogesh. Both were married to the family’s consent, but after a few days of marriage, there was darkness in Sadhana’s life. According to Sunita, the mother of the deceased, Yogesh and his family were constantly torturing the practice physically and mentally.
Additional DCP Aishwarya Sharma said that on August 2, the police had received information through PCR call that a woman had committed suicide. The Sunlight Colony police reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported, where Sadhana’s body was in the room.
Information given to SDM, statement of family members recorded
Initial investigation revealed that she was alone in the room and hanged her life. Since this suicide took place within seven years of marriage, the matter was also reported to the Defense Colony SDM.
The crime team inspected the spot and the body was sent for post -mortem. The statements of the deceased’s mother Sunita and brother were also recorded before the SDM. After the post -mortem, the body was handed over to the family members.
Family members accused their in -laws
The deceased’s mother has made serious allegations of persistent harassment and assault on the daughter’s husband Yogesh and her family. He says that the daughter was being tortured since her marriage.
The mother of the deceased, who is pleading for justice for her daughter, has been disappointed by the police not taking concrete action in this case so far. At present, the police is investigating the entire case. Further legal action will be taken based on the SDM report and the statement of the aggrieved side.
