New Delhi: The Congress has today released the first list of 21 candidates for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The most prominent name in the list is former MP Sandeep Dixit, who has been announced as a candidate from New Delhi. Former Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal is currently MLA from New Delhi Assembly Constituency. Congress has given ticket to Pradesh Congress President Devendra Yadav from Badali. He has been an MLA from this seat before. Similarly, former Delhi government minister Haroon Yusuf has been announced as a candidate from Ballimaran, former Pradesh Congress president Chaudhary Anil Kumar from Patparganj and national spokesperson Ragini Naik from Wazirpur. The Congress Central Election Committee approved the names of these 21 candidates this evening. -News-Patiala
