Delhi News: Coldest weather morning recorded in Delhi


New Delhi, December 11

The national capital Delhi on Wednesday recorded the lowest minimum temperature of this winter season so far, with the mercury plummeting to 4.9 degrees Celsius from the previous day’s 8 degrees Celsius. According to India Meteorological Department “Safdarjung recorded a minimum temperature of 4.9 degree Celsius which is the lowest temperature of this winter season.

Last year, the same minimum temperature was recorded at 4.9 degrees Celsius on December 15.”

Meanwhile, air quality in Delhi remained in the poor category on Wednesday morning, even as readings were near the moderate range. The city’s AQI was 207 at 8 am, down from 223 recorded a day earlier. News-Patiala
