Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal launched the Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana on Tuesday. For this purpose, the former Chief Minister of Delhi especially reached the Marghat Wale Baba temple near ISBT located at Kashmiri Gate here and the priest of the temple was first registered there.
Kejriwal said that if the Aam Aadmi Party takes over the power of Delhi again in the elections to be held in the upcoming month of February, the priests of all the Hindu temples and the scribes of the Gurdwaras in Delhi will be appointed under this plan. A monthly honorarium of Rs.18,000 will be given. He had announced the launch of this scheme yesterday keeping in mind the Delhi elections.
In a post on social media platform X (X), the AAP supremo said, “Today visited the Marghat Wale Baba Temple (ISBT) and launched the Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana. Today is the birthday of the mahant of this place. He also celebrated his birthday with them.”

Kejriwal alleged on the occasion that the BJP tried its best to stop the registration process for this scheme but no one can stop a ‘devotee from meeting his God’. It is to be noted that earlier announcing this plan on Monday, Kejriwal had said that he would visit the ancient Hanuman temple at Connaught Place and start the registration of priests there.
At the same time, politics over the honorarium has intensified in Delhi and a group of priests protested against Kejriwal outside the Connaught Place temple after Kejriwal announced the honorarium after a delay of 10 years. AAP chief was accompanied by his wife Sunita Kejriwal during the visit to Marghatwale Baba Mandir. -News-Patiala
