Devyani Uttam Khobragade, the present Ambassador of India to Cambodia, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Tunisia. This information has been given in a statement of the Ministry of External Affairs. The statement said that Khobragade, a 1999 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service, will take over the post soon. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said Khobragade was appointed India’s ambassador to Cambodia on 1 October 2020. Khobragade has served as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs. – ANI
