Dhadak 2 Movie Review: Trupti Dimri-Siddhant Chaturvedi’s ‘Dhadak 2’ taste like ‘Dhadak’

Jahnavi Kapoor made his debut in the 2018 film ‘Dhadak’. The audience liked this film a lot. Ishaan Khattar was seen with him in the film. It was a hit at the box office. Now the makers have brought its second part ‘Dhadak 2’, which is going to be released in theaters on 1 August 2025 i.e. Friday. The film stars Trupti Dimri (Vidhi) and Siddhant Chaturvedi (Nilesh) in the lead roles. The taste of ‘Dhadak 2’ is similar to ‘Dhadak’, this time there is a new love story of method and Nilesh. So let us tell you how the film is ‘Dhadak 2’.

This time the film focuses on caste, insult and respect. If we talk about the story of the film, then nothing is new. The same Bollywood love stories, in which the girl belongs to a good family and the boy from a very simple family. This time the manufacturers made caste the main subject instead of rich and poor. The film is good, the chemistry of satisfaction and theory is also good, there is no flaw in the direction… Just the story looks a bit weak. The story of the film revolves around the method and Nilesh, who belong to different castes. The method belongs to a good family and Nilesh from a poor family. Everyone is educated in the law of the law and he is the only boy in Nilesh’s house who is studying.

He wants to become a lawyer and wants to fight for justice by reading and writing. He also gets admission in a law college from Kota. The film shows what difficulties a student from Kota has to face in college. The method is also studying from the same college from where he is studying BA LLB. Being in the same class, the closeness between them increases. Both fall in love with each other. The method is a modern and open-minded girl for which e-caste does not matter, but her family gives priority to caste and pays great attention to all these things. His society matters a lot to him.

When the family of the law comes to know about this, they torture Nilesh a lot and advise him to stay away from the method. Nilesh is repeatedly told who he is, where he lives and what is his status. Nilesh gets very upset with all these things and then what does he do? Does he go away from the method? Does everything end between the method and Nilesh? Now to get answers to all these questions, you have to go to theaters and watch the whole film.

There is no doubt that Siddharth has put his life in the role of Nilesh. Their acting will make you emotional or say that in some scenes you will be forced to cry. At the same time, Trupti has also played a slightly different character this time, in which she is liked. The method is a very bold girl, who is not afraid of telling the truth. The way Trupti has changed her style for the role of Vidhi, it would be nice to see in the film. Also, Saurabh Sachdeva’s character is also very strong. His screen space in the film may be low, but whenever he comes on the screen, the film becomes strong. The film is directed by Shazia Iqbal, who has given attention to every little and big thing in the film in a very brilliant way.

The first part of the film runs at a good speed, but the speed of the second part slows down, which also slows down a bit, but by reaching the climax, the film takes its pace again. The background score of the film is good, but if the music was a little more powerful, it could have become a perfect film. Well, now it will tell how much love this film gets to the audience. Overall, this is a recreational film, which you can see with your whole family and the fun you came to see ‘Dhadak’, the same fun will also come in ‘Dhadak 2’. 3 stars out of 5 to the film from my side.
