The ‘Book Donation Month’ was celebrated to commemorate the 53rd anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur National College, Dakha. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Avtar Singh started this work by donating a set of 10 books to the college library. After this, teachers, students and former students presented around 140 books. On this occasion Dr. Avtar Singh said that books not only increase our knowledge, but also become the best friend in life. He said that with this campaign, there has been a high level of increase in the book collection of the college library. College librarian Rajwinder Kaur explained the importance of this day and said that books can change the lifestyle. He said that among the donated books, ‘Eh Rah Jaya Kya Pasi’ is written by Mandeep Kaur Roy, in which information is given about Gurpreet Singh Mintu of Hasanpur under the title ‘Manukhta Di Seva’.
