Modern science also believes that skipping breakfast can slow down the metabolism, which can lead to weakness, dizziness, irritability and in the long run problems like obesity or blood sugar. Breakfast should not be heavy, but it should be nutritious. Porridge, fruit, yogurt, sprouts, mung dal chilla, or a little protein prepares the body for the day.
