Congress MP from Fatehgarh Sahib Lok Sabha Constituency Dr. Amar Singh raised the issue of cleaning Budhe River in the Lok Sabha today and sought clarification from Union Environment Minister Bhupinder Yadav and sought information about the steps taken by the Center in this matter. He said that this Budha river, which has taken the form of a canal, starts from his constituency Fatehgarh Sahib and falls into the Sutlej river through Ludhiana city, due to which deadly elements like uranium and fluoride are released into the ground water, causing serious diseases like cancer. are dissolving
He asked the Union Environment Minister Bhupinder Yadav that his department had promised to conduct a detailed study on this serious matter, but no such study has come up yet. Union Minister Bhupinder Yadav avoided this question instead of giving a suitable answer.
