Former Head of Food Science and Technology Department of PAU Dr. Poonam Aggarwal has been honored with the ‘Professor Jeevan Singh Sidhu’ award as the best professor for 2023 by the Association of Food Scientists and Technologists. Serving more than 33 years in PAU, Dr. Poonam is recognized for her outstanding contribution in the field of teaching, research and research leadership in food science.
During his tenure, he completed several research projects, established leading business training structures and authored three registered patents and more than 300 research and peer-reviewed publications.
