Drug smugglers, two drones and heroin recovered from the border

During a joint operation, the BSF and Punjab Police posted on the border have arrested a person from the border village of Malikpur on the charge of drug smuggling and a packet of heroin has also been recovered from him. Apart from this, two drones and heroin have also been recovered from two places.

BSF and Punjab Police arrested a person last night from village Malikpur under a joint operation from whom a packet of heroin was recovered. He said that the BSF had received advance information in this regard, after which action was taken in collaboration with the Punjab Police. Apart from this, BSF has recovered one drone each from near ICP Attari and village Khanwala.

Thus, in a separate incident, the District Rural Police has arrested two persons, who have been identified as Balbir Singh alias Bira and Ajay Verma, with two kilos of heroin and drug money worth one and a half lakh rupees. Both of them are residents of village Majari in Banga. The police have registered a case against them under the NDPS Act. They were arrested by the Bhindi Said police.
