iPhone 17 Pro Camera: Apple’s new iPhone 17 Pro has finally been launched and its sale will start from 19 September. This time such features have been added to camera technology that make it not just a smartphone but a cinema-grade camera fit in pockets. Many of these abilities are found in high-end cinema cameras that cost millions of rupees, while some features are not available there either. Let’s know the five big features that make the camera of iPhone 17 Pro completely different.
Prurse raw support
This feature is usually available only in high-end cameras. Prres Raw Codec captures more data and is very useful for giving color grading and cinematic touch in post-production. In the iPhone 17 Pro, you can shoot in this format by attaching SSD and edit the footage directly into software like Davinci Resolve. This capacity is not yet available in any Android phone.
Apple Log 2
Apple gave LOG shooting in the iPhone 15 Pro for the first time. Now its upgraded version Apple Log 2 is present in the iPhone 17 Pro. It supports more wide color gamt, so that footage can be made more natural and cinematic in post-production.
OpenGate Recording
OpenGate mode means that the entire sensor is used during video recording. This makes the frame more wide and with a single shot you can make both portrait and landscape videos. This feature in cinema cameras is quite popular and now the iPhone 17 Pro is making it easy for content creators.
Genlock and TimeCode support
The iPhone 17 Pro also provides genlock and timecode which can be used through Blackmagic Camera Pro Dock. With its help, multi-camera shoots can be synchronized. Apple also showed its demo where many iPhones were placed in a circle and made bullet-time effect. This technology was only possible only in professional film production.
4k 120fps dolby vision video
In the iPhone 17 Pro you get the option of 4K 120fps video recording, which comes with Dolby Vision Support. With this, you can also capture slow-motion shots in high resolution. Surprisingly, many expensive mirrorless cameras also do not offer combination of this level.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 5G also has a strong camera setup
The Galaxy S25 Ultra rear has a four cameras setup for photography. It has a 200MP primary lens, 50MP ultravide lens, 50MP periscope telephoto camera and another 10MP’s more telephoto sensor. There is a 12MP camera in the front of this phone for selfie and video calls. This phone is equipped with a large battery of 5,000mAh, which comes with 15W wireless and 4.5W reverse wireless charging support.
