Due to Punjabi singer Daljit Dosanjh’s program at PAU in Ludhiana today, the rest of the hotels in the city did not celebrate the New Year celebrations. Every year, programs were held in hotels in and around the city till the night of 31st December. There is also talk of getting tickets for Daljit Dosanjh’s show at a lower price.
Before this, various speculations were being made about Diljit’s Ludhiana program or not. The reason for this is former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh passed away due to which seven days of national mourning was being observed. Apart from this, many hotels also did not organize events regarding the New Year celebrations this time. In other hotels of the city, the last night of the year saw only one big event. The major reason for not organizing the program in many of these hotels is that a large number of young people are going to see singer Daljit Dosanjh’s show in Ludhiana. It has also been heard that the gold ticket for Diljit Dosanjh’s show, which was earlier sold for Rs 9000, is now available for Rs 6000 and the Rs 5000 ticket for Rs 2000. The main reason behind the low ticket rates is believed to be the lack of people who bought the tickets sold in the black earlier, but there was a lot of enthusiasm for Diljit’s show in many sections.
