Women are worried because there is no gynecologist doctor in the civil hospital here for the last one year. According to information, a year ago Dr. After Kuldeep Kaur resigned, Dr. Pooja had taken over the post but was soon transferred after which no female gynecologist doctor has been appointed due to which pregnant women coming for delivery are facing difficulties in expensive private hospitals to get their treatment. Thousands of people from around 300 villages come for their treatment in this hospital, but the shortage of doctors has been emerging as a big problem for a long time. Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh leader Vijay Comrade and Shiromani Akali Dal’s urban president Jaswinder Singh Kalra has demanded the government to immediately fill the vacant posts of doctors in the hospital. In this regard, the senior medical officer of the hospital Dr. Manmohan Singh said that he has raised the issue of filling the vacant posts of ladies doctors and other staff in the hospital in a high level meeting of the health department and soon a lady doctor will be appointed in the hospital.
