Due to the start of the electronic interlocking work of the important Shakurbasti railway station of Delhi on the Jakhal-Delhi rail route, the routes of the passenger trains running on this route have been changed. About 12 passenger trains plying on this route will remain closed till January 16 or will be diverted from Jind to Via Gohana, Sonepat-Delhi, railway officials said. The superfast train running from Sri Ganganagar to Delhi will be diverted from Jind to Sonepat-Delhi for a few days and this superfast train will run up-down from Sri Ganganagar to Rohtak for a few days. Passenger trains running between Jakhal-Delhi will remain closed till January 16. The Railway Department has put the official information in this regard on the notice board.
