The Center for Seismology (NCS) confirmed that an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale occurred in Nepal on Saturday morning. The earthquake, which occurred at 3:59 am Indian Standard Time (IST), was recorded at a depth of 10 km below the earth’s surface.
As per the information, there are no reports of any casualties or significant structural damage so far. However, local authorities are on alert and are closely monitoring the situation. The National Center for Seismology shared the details of the earthquake on social media platform ‘X’.– IANS
