Eight young men from Punjab became commissioned officers in the Indian Army

Eight cadets of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute Sector-77 (Mohali) have become commissioned officers in the Indian Army. They include Kritin Gupta from Ludhiana, Bharat Sharma and Sahildeep Singh from Amritsar, Sahilpreet Singh Sandhu from Patiala, Shiv Kumar from Kapurthala and Uttam Malik from Bathinda. These young men have been inducted as commissioned officers in the Indian Army during the passing out parade of the 155-regular course of the Indian Army Academy (IMA), Dehradun. The parade was inspected by Nepal Army Chief General Ashokraj Sigdel.

These cadets are 8th course students of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute Mohali. Apart from this, two more cadets of the institute Gursher Singh Cheema from Sangrur and Pratham Parmar from Kapurthala have been inducted as Flying Officers in the Indian Air Force in the 214th Combined Passing Out Parade of the Air Force Academy (AFA) Dundigal. Chief of the Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh inspected the parade.

Cabinet Minister Aman Arora praised the youth

Punjab Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Minister Aman Arora congratulated these talented cadets of Mohali Institute on getting commissioned as commissioned officers and urged them to make Punjab proud by working hard. Director of the Institute Major General (retd) Ajay H Chauhan also congratulated these cadets. He said that with the recruitment of these eight young men as commissioned officers in the Indian Army and Air Force, a total of 168 cadets have been commissioned as commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces since the inception of the institute.
