New Delhi. The film Ground Zero has recently been released on 25 April 2025. The film is based on the life of BSF officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, who led the operation in 2003 in which Ghazi Baba alias Rana Tahir Nadeem was killed. In this film, Emraan Hashmi is in the lead role, and has played an important role with actor Deepak Parmesh.
This film was very special for Deepak because this is his first Hindi film. Prior to this, he has been working in South Indian films. He was earlier hesitant to work in Hindi films, especially because of the language. But the ground zero gave him the confidence that he needed. He says that Tamil cinema coined him as an actor and now he is fully ready to prove himself in Hindi films too.

Working with Imran is nothing short of a dream
Regarding the experience of working with Emraan Hashmi in the film, Deepak said that Imran is a very helpful and down to meaning person. He never expressed how many senior actors he is. Deepak said that when Imran came to know that he had some difficulty in speaking Hindi, he supported him during the shooting. At the same time, the atmosphere on the set also kept light and comfortable. Deepak said that he grew up watching Imran’s films and working with him was like a dream come true.
Learned a lot from the film
Talking about the film’s director Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoscar, Deepak said that Tejas sir is a very good director. They do not impose anything but guide. He helped Deepak a lot in understanding and playing his character ‘Beenu’. Deepak said that during this film, he learned a lot as an actor. Tejas Sir always maintained a positive atmosphere on the set and was trying to make a realistic film, which he did through ground zero.
Now that Deepak has entered Hindi cinema, he wants him to get similar films which are full of real and challenging characters. He is proud that he has now become a part of the world of Hindi cinema which has now reached the global level.
