Starlink, a satellite internet project of Allen Musk’s company Spacex, has received approval from the Government of India for commercial internet service. Now soon high-speed internet will be able to reach rural and remote areas across the country, where mobile networks and broadbands are not yet reached.
What is Starlink?
Starlink is a satellite-based internet service that provides internet service through thousands of small satellites roaming in the Earth’s low-arbit (Leo). Its purpose is to deliver internet to places where traditional networks have failed.
What will be the speed of Starlink in India?
Starlink’s average speed in other countries of the world:

It is expected to get a similar speed in India, which will be suitable for gaming, video calling and HD streaming.
