EPFO: The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has recently made a major change in the rules for provident fund transfers. As per instructions dated January 15, 2025, members can now transfer their PF account online in certain cases. That too without the approval of his predecessor or master. These improvements will make filing transfer claims online easier than ever, reducing delays and making the process more efficient. This initiative is specifically designed to provide relief to employees who are changing jobs. Now this process can be completed with the help of Aadhaar and other necessary documents.
Employees can now self-correct errors in their personal details such as name, date of birth, spouse’s name, marital status, nationality, gender and date of employment through the EPFO portal.
What is the Eligibility of PF Transfer…
To avail this new facility you have to fulfill these conditions
1. Link UAN to Aadhaar: Your Universal
Account Number (UAN) is linked to Aadhaar and

Aadhaar, PAN and Bank Account, EPFO

How to transfer online
step 1: First of all go to EPFO Member Portal.
step 2: Login to your account by entering your UAN and password.

step 3: Then go to ‘Online Services’ tab and click on ‘One Member One EPF Account (Transfer Request)’ option.
step 4: After this, verify the details related to the existing PF account along with the personal details.
step 5: After verifying the PF account details, click on the last PF account details option.
step 6: Select your previous employer or current employer to verify the form.
step 7: Then click on Get OTP option to get OTP on registered mobile number with UAN.
step 8: After entering the OTP, click on Submit Transfer Request.
step 1: After submitting the application, you will be able to monitor the status of your transfer request by visiting ‘Track Claim Status’.
step 10: Your company will approve your EPF transfer request through the Employer interface of the Unified Portal.
