Exhibition centers will be opened in big cities: Cheema

Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that the Punjab government will soon build exhibition centers in the major cities of the state so that events like Pytex can be held. The Finance Minister was addressing the closing and prize distribution ceremony of the ongoing 18th Punjab International Trade Expo in Amritsar on Sunday. After inspecting the stall set up by Markfed here, he said that the state is now moving rapidly towards becoming Rangla Punjab. The participation of women entrepreneurs, neighboring states and countries in those Pytaxes is proof that businessmen have now made Punjab their destination. He said that the Punjab government has implemented many schemes to encourage industries and till now more than three thousand crores electricity subsidy has been given to the industries. Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, who arrived as a special guest on this occasion, said that in the report of the central government, it has been admitted that Punjab is one of the leading states in the field of MSME.
On this occasion, Mr. Cheema and Mr. Dhaliwal jointly awarded the best display indoor award to Makin and the outdoor award to Novelty Hyundai. PhDCCI Punjab Chapter Chairman Karan Gilhotra, Deputy Secretary Naveen Seth, Regional Director Bharti Sood, Punjabi Singer Sonia Mann, Local Coordinator Jaideep Singh and many other dignitaries were present during the programme.
