A close source to Pinkvilla told, ‘Arijit has been playing with the idea of becoming a director for a long time and quietly working on developing an ambitious script. His first feature film will be an unique jungle adventure which he himself has written with Koyal Singh.

At present, Arijit is working on the script of the film, but the cast has not been selected yet. However, producers want to make this film for Pan-India audience, so casting will also be done accordingly. The source further said, “It is an ambitious big budget jungle adventure, and Arijit is working with a crew on pre-production work. In the next one month, the film will enter the casting phase, and the idea is to lock a top-level star-comment for the film.”
