Divya Kakran married bodybuilder Sachin Pratap in Meerut in 2023.
After badminton player Saina Nehwal, now international wrestler Divya Kakran, who lives in UP, has announced a divorce from her husband Sachin Pratap Singh. He has posted an emotional story on Instagram in this regard. In which he described this decision as the most difficult chapter of his life.
‘Dainik Bhaskar’ spoke to wrestler Divya. He said, everything was not going well for 4-5 months between us. We kept thinking that it would be fine. But, now we have taken a hard decision of separation. We had arranged marriage. The rest I had to write what I had to write on social media. The rest does not want to tell anything else. Married on 21 February 2023 Divya Kakran, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, married Meerut gym trainer and national bodybuilder player Sachin Pratap Singh on 21 February 2023.
The wedding took place at a resort in Kankarkheda, Meerut. Divya and Sachin were in a relationship since 2022, a year before the wedding. Sachin’s father is posted as a sub-inspector in UP Police. He trains policemen as an instructor.
After winning a medal at the Commonwealth Games in 2022, he was promoted from the post of TT of Railways and appointed to the post of Naib Tehsildar by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

In the early days of their career, the two used to train together at Pullela Gopichand Academy in Hyderabad.
Both met during training at the academy. Both moved ahead in this game. Both of them got married in 2018 after being in a long relationship. However, people were not even aware of the relationship of both of them till marriage.
