A young man attempted suicide by pouring petrol on himself to get back his sister’s original documents at an immigration center in Faridkot. However, before he could set himself on fire, the center staff with the help of people overpowered the young man and handed him over to the police.

A young man named Dalbir Singh had come to an immigration center located at Kammeana Chowk here on Tuesday afternoon to get back the original documents of his sister Amandeep Kaur and when he did not get the documents back, he poured petrol on himself and tried to set himself on fire.

The center operator said – the work of signing was left Young Dalbir Singh told that he has deposited the original documents of his sister Amandeep Kaur in the said immigration centre, but now the documents are not being returned to him. He has visited the center several times regarding this matter, but was not getting any justice due to which he was forced to take this step.
On the other hand, the center operator completely rejected the allegations of young Dalbir Singh and said that he has started the process of returning the documents of Amandeep Kaur and he was told to bring Amandeep Kaur along so that the documents can be returned after getting her signature. It should be done, but the said young man came to the center and created this drama and created an atmosphere of panic.
