Late Thursday evening in Kotkapura city of Faridkot, farmer organizations under the leadership of Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Sidhupur offered prayers for the good health of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal at Gurudwara Chulha Sahib. After this a torch march was taken out in the city.

Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal has been fasting at the Khanauri border of Punjab and Haryana for the last two weeks demanding the demands of the farmers. Farmer leader and former District President of BKU Ekta Sidhupur Iqbal Singh Khalsa said that the attitude of the Central Government is not good towards the farmers and no attention is being paid to the legitimate demands of the farmers.
Speaking on the occasion, city business leader Omkar Goyal said that the attitude of the government is not good not only towards farmers but also towards other sections including traders and everyone should unite and fight against the government.
