Farmers’ 6th December Delhi March: SP Ambala held a meeting with the office bearers of Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and United Farmers Morcha (Non-Political) led by Sarwan Singh Pandher at Police Officers’ Institute in the city regarding the farmers’ 6th December Delhi march. . During the meeting, the farmer leaders assured SP Surinder Singh Bhauria that they will march to Delhi in a peaceful manner and will not disturb law and order.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Sarwan Singh Pandher said that during the meeting, he has tried to clear the doubts of the administration. Their march to Delhi will be on foot and during this time they will not block any roads. Pandher said that they will go to Delhi in jathas on different days and will stage every 15 km and the Shambhu Morcha will continue behind.
The leader said that the government has not yet held any talks with them regarding the Delhi exodus. He has placed his program in detail before SP Ambala Surinder Singh Bhauria. He said, “We have removed the doubts and questions in their minds. We have no intention of road jam. We will go straight to Delhi, even if a minister plans a program near us, we have no intention of going there.”
Pandher said that whatever has happened till date is due to misunderstanding with Haryana or Delhi administration. He has clarified to the SP that our phones are open 24 hours, if there is any doubt talk to us. We also hope that if the trust increases, they will also allow us to carry tractor trolleys. In response to a question, Pandher said that they have announced three-four stages on the way to Delhi. It is a mutual understanding between our two forums that we will set a daily limit of 15 km. There will be further stages. Now I don’t know where the government stops, lets in or not. We are not in favor of closing the road. We want traffic to continue and our front to continue.
Manjit Singh Machhonda of Bhakiu Shaheed Bhagat Singh said that he did not get any date for talks from the government, in today’s meeting, the administration had called for talks regarding the Delhi exodus of December 6. He said that how many farmers will go to Delhi, how they will go, they will have a complete record of the jathas. The farmers of Haryana have to arrange the langar water. Whether the government stops at the Singhu border or at Jantar Mantar, there is no program to block our way. The government should not be afraid of us.
Appeal to the farmers of district Ambala
Kisan Union Shaheed Bhagat Singh through a social media post has appealed to the farmers and laborers of Ambala district to reach Shambhu border at 8 am for the Delhi march on December 6 and strengthen the farmers movement. It has also been stated in the appeal that as soon as the farmers enter Haryana from Shambhu border, it will be the responsibility of Haryana friends to arrange tea, langar and overnight stay for them.
