Farmers Delhi march: Haryana bans mobile internet, bulk SMS in several villages of Ambala district from Dec 6 to Dec 9: Ahead of farmers’ march to Delhi, the Haryana government has banned mobile internet in many villages of Ambala district. This ban will continue from December 6 to 9, and during this time, messages will not be sent together. It may be mentioned that after the farmers protested in Delhi March, the state government has taken this decision so that peace can be maintained in the state.

Earlier, Ambala DC Parth Gupta has issued a letter to Sarwan Singh, chairman of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee and Jaswinder Singh, state president of Bhakiu (Ekta Azad), regarding the farmers’ announcement of exodus to Delhi on December 6. It is necessary to take permission from the Delhi Police to hold a demonstration. The DC wrote in the letter that the Supreme Court Special Leave Appeal (C) No. 6950/6983/2024 on 24.07. During the hearing of 2024, orders have been given to maintain the status quo on the Shambhu border so that no untoward incident of any kind takes place and both parties have been appealed to resolve this issue through mutual dialogue. In this regard, a committee has also been constituted by the Supreme Court which is talking to each party.
