Farmer Protest: Fast to death by 111 farmers’ group at Dhaka Gujran border

Farmer Protest: A group of 111 farmers under the leadership of the United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan-Mazdur Morcha have started a hunger strike on Wednesday. This group of farmers has started their fast to death after staging a peaceful dharna near the barricading by the Haryana Police on the Dhabi Gujran (Khanuri) border.

The farmers’ leaders say that this is not a hunger strike, but a fast to death. He said that farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal also had to fast to death when the government neglected the farmers and now 111 farmers have to sit on fast to death.
