Farmers Protest: The Supreme Court has expressed concern over the deteriorating health of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is fasting for his demands. The apex court ordered the Punjab and Central governments to provide immediate medical assistance to the farmer leader.
Along with this, the Supreme Court asked the central and state governments to persuade the farmer leader to break his death fast. At the same time, the apex court has also warned that no force should be used to suppress the opposition of the farmer’s leader.
The court has asked the representatives of the central and Punjab governments to meet farmer leader Dallewal immediately in this regard. The apex court has clearly said that no force should be used to break the protest of Punjab farmer Dallewal unless it is necessary to save his life. -News-Patiala
