Tear gas shells were fired at the farmers by Haryana Police, in which 8 farmers were injured.
Farmers of Punjab had announced their march to Delhi on Friday, 6 December. At 1 o’clock in the afternoon, a group of 101 farmers left for Delhi, but the Haryana Police did not allow the farmers to go ahead citing lack of permission at the Shambhu border.

First thing in the morning, the farmers held a meeting and made a strategy, then recited the lesson. After this, langar was served to the entire group. After serving them langar, they made them garland them and make them stand near a rope. Farmers were also given salt, so that the effect of tear gas shells could be reduced.
At one o’clock the farmers moved forward. There was barricading by the police at the entry of Haryana. Then barbed wire was laid. After this, nails were applied using cement. The farmers uprooted all three layers and moved ahead. Then the police sprayed pepper on the farmers. Tear gas shells were also fired twice. 8 farmers were injured in this whole incident.
After the farmers were injured, a call came from the farmer leaders to step back. Farmers say that if the Center does not talk to the farmers tomorrow, they will march to Delhi on December 8 at 12 noon.
