The body of a class 10 student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya located in village Farour of Khaman tehsil of Fatehgarh Sahib was found near the railway track. How did the student die and how did this student reach here from the hostel? This still remains a mystery. The deceased has been identified as Ashish Kumar Yadav.

Didn’t even take father to the spot
Anil Kumar Yadav, father of deceased student Ashish, told that he lives in Mandi Gobindgarh with his family. His son Ashish was studying in class 10th in Navodaya Vidyalaya. His daughter studies in class 9th in the same Navodaya Vidyalaya. Last midnight the principal called him and told him that his son’s body had been found near the railway track. Didn’t even take him to the spot. Brought him straight to the hospital. They should be told how the child came out of the hostel. This should be investigated and they should get justice.

Railway police examining CCTV footage
Railway Police has started investigating the matter. Investigating officer Rupinder Singh said that the patrolling personnel had informed the police. After which, when he went to the spot, he saw that a dead body of a student was lying on the railway track. Wore Navodaya School uniform. Then the principal was called and identification was done. Further investigation is being done. CCTV footage is being scrutinized to find out how the child went out of the hostel.
