In Fazilka, a woman resident of Pati Sadiq village of Abohar was beaten up by her husband. Under treatment, Rajwinder Kaur, wife of Purna Singh, aged about 30 years, told that she was married about 16 years ago and has three children. Her husband works as a daily wage laborer and often doubts her character. Yesterday too, her husband attacked her with a stick and injured her head, saying that she had a mobile phone. After which she was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The woman told that her husband had beaten her several times before, and she had complained about this to the Khuiyan Sarwar police. But no action has been taken yet. Here the matter has been informed to the police.
