Five members of the gang who were plotting the robbery were arrested

The police have arrested five members of a gang planning to rob a petrol pump. In this regard, DSP (Philaur) Sarwan Singh Ball said that the police have arrested 5 members who were planning to rob the petrol pump and recovered 3 motorcycles, 4 mobile phones, 3 chisels and an iron rod. He further said that Jaskaran Singh alias Jassa resident of Bachhowal, Kamal resident of Mohalla Mathurapuri Philore, Sanjay Kumar resident of Mohalla Chaudhary Garha Road Philore, Ravinder Singh resident of Bakkapur and Jatinder Singh resident of Kang Araya have been arrested. In another case, the police arrested 2 drug smugglers and recovered 135 drug pills. The accused have been identified as Navdeep Kumar resident of Gohawar and Manpreet Chokaria resident of GT Road Gohawar.

People handed over three robbers to the police

Kahnuwan (Pattar Prarek): Residents of the area near village Ghukla have arrested three robbers and handed them over to the police. In this regard, the residents of village Kotli Harchandan said that three robbers robbed a mobile phone and 2 thousand rupees from an egg seller on a bicycle near their village. Meanwhile, the farmers working in the fields nearby informed the villagers that three robbers are going towards the village, they should be stopped. The villagers blocked the way by placing the trolley in the road. Meanwhile, the villagers and people coming from behind surrounded the robbers on the spot and arrested them. During interrogation, the arrested robbers said that they are residents of Madi Panwan, a village near Srihargobindpur. Investigating officer Tarlok Singh said that 3 youths have been handed over to them by the local residents, but any information can be given only after the investigation of this matter.
