Here, two cars collided on the Bathinda-Malot road over bridge at around 1 o’clock last night, due to which five persons were injured. Sandeep Gill, a member of the Sahara Jan Sewa Life Saving Brigade Helpline Team, reached the spot on receiving the information about the accident. Both the cars were badly damaged in the accident. The people trapped in the cars were pulled out with the help of the Road Security Force (Thermal police station) team. The injured were taken to the emergency ward of the hospital by ambulance. Among the injured are Ram Pratap (24) resident of Fazilka, Rani (29), Kusum Rani (24), Poonam (22) and Pradeep Kumar (40) son of Bhimsain.
