Various school vehicles were checked here, including buses of Cambridge School, St. Soldier Public School, Shivalik School, Scholar Public School and Akal Academy Gobindpura etc. District Child Protection Officer Kanchan Arora said that during this campaign, documents of a total of 12 buses of about 8 schools were checked and challans were also issued for 4 school buses violating the terms of the Safe School Vehicle Policy. Drivers must be informed of the terms of the Safe School Vehicle Policy, CCT. Also, information is being given about the camera, iron grill on the window, first aid box, lady conductor, the bus driver should be in school uniform, wearing seat belt, not putting more than capacity children in the school bus etc. On this occasion, the documents of school bus drivers were also checked. Child Protection Officer Gaurav Sharma, Outreach Worker Kanta, ASI Jaswinder Pal and Balwant Singh were present on this occasion.
