Eleven Indians, including a girl from Jhanda Kalan village in Sardulgarh, died due to suffocation in a restaurant after a snow storm in Georgia. She has been identified as Maninder Kaur (27) daughter of Jagtar Singh. Jagtar Singh, the father of the deceased, said that his daughter Maninder Kaur had gone to Georgia on a work permit for the last six years. She used to work in Indian restaurants. Due to yesterday’s blizzard, she along with her colleagues slept with heaters installed at night. Meanwhile, he died due to suffocation. The girl’s elder brother lives in Paris. When he investigated the incident that happened on December 13, it was found that his sister Maninder Kaur also fell victim to this accident. Due to this unfortunate incident, there is an atmosphere of grief in the family and the villagers. All the villagers and the family appealed to the state government and the government of India to bring back the dead body of Maninder Kaur so that her last rites can be performed according to religious rituals.
