1. Amarinder Kaur went to Georgia for a better future Amrinder Kaur, a resident of Mehma village in Punjab’s Patiala district, is one of the 12 people who lost their lives in the restaurant. 32-year-old Amrinder Kaur had studied till 12th and went to Georgia in 2015 to build a better future.

His father even sold 4 acres of his land to send him to Georgia. Amrinder was working in a hotel for a few years. He also had to come home from time to time on holidays.

2. The couple was going to celebrate their first anniversary on December 18. A couple from Samana of Patiala also died in the said incident. They have been identified as Ravinder Singh (32) and Gurvinder Kaur (30).

Ravinder’s elder brother Pradeep Singh told that his brother had gone to Georgia last year. He was supposed to celebrate his first wedding anniversary on December 18. Pradeep says that he had 3 brothers and Ravinder was the youngest.

Basant Singh, grandfather of deceased Gagandeep Singh, told that Gagandeep Singh had earlier gone to Dubai. He went to Georgia 4 months ago. According to the family, they received information on Monday that Gagandeep had died.

relatives It is said that the family supports its family by working hard. The family says that they do not even have money to bring Gagandeep’s body to India. The family has appealed to the government to bring the body to India.

4. Called to convey good wishes, received information about death Sameer Kumar (26), resident of Khanna city of Ludhiana district of Punjab, also lost his life in this accident. He went to Georgia about 6 months ago. Sameer’s brother Gurdeep Kumar has told that December 14 was Sameer’s birthday.

Gurdeep tells that he first called Sameer, but he did not pick up the phone. After this, he got the number of the restaurant from the internet and called and the manager told that there has been an accident in the restaurant. 12 people sleeping in the rooms have died due to gas leakage. Sameer was also included in this.

5. Talked to the family only on the day of death Ravinder Kala, resident of Kot Ramdas Mohalla of Laddewali, Jalandhar is also included in the dead. Ravinder was abroad for 8 years. He lived in Dubai for 5 years. After this he was living in Georgia for 3 years.

The family last spoke to Ravinder on Friday. Ravinder was in Georgia on a 5-year work permit. There he had also applied for permanent residence. Ravinder is survived by his wife Kanchan, 2 daughters and 7 year old son.

What did the Georgia administration say on the incident The Indian Embassy in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi gave information about the accident. At the same time, the Government of Georgia says that all these people died last Friday due to carbon monoxide gas leaking in the restaurant. All these 12 people worked in the ski restaurant of Gudauri Hill Station. These people were sleeping in their rooms on the second floor of the restaurant when the gas leak occurred.

Georgia authorities say the gas leak occurred when a power generator at the restaurant started operating after a power outage in the area. Due to this, gas leaked in the restaurant and all the employees sleeping in the rooms on the second floor died in their sleep. The next day, on Saturday, their dead bodies were found in their rooms.
