Google is going to bring a big change for internet users around the world. In fact, Google has decided that now the local domains (eg dot in, dot UK, dot JP) made for different countries will be taken to everyone on the same domain ‘Google.com’. That is, whatever you are in the country, you will reach Google.com directly on opening Google’s website.
Why is this change happening?
Actually, Google already shows you search results according to your location. That is, if you are in America, then you will get the trending topic and local news there. Now making this system easier, Google has decided to keep the same domain for everyone.
What will be the effect on users?
This change will not make any much difference on your search quality or results. Yes, some people may have to re -set the settings related to their language or region. For example, if you want the result in Hindi, then you have to see the setting of your language again.
Local results will still be available
If you feel that now only international content will be seen, then it will not happen. Google will continue to show local results on the basis of your real time location as earlier. That is, if you are in Japan, then Japanese websites and content will be revealed.
When will the change be seen?
Google has made it clear that these updates will gradually reach all the users and it may take a few months. Once it is fully implemented, then even after typing the URL of different countries, the browser will directly deliver you to Google Dot com.
This step of Google is towards making the Internet uniform and easier. If you are a regular Google user, then you just have to focus on a few settings, the rest will remain the same as before, fast, local and personalized.
