Google Pixel 10 Vs Samsung Galaxy S25: Samsung’s Galaxy S Series has long been identified with premium Android smartphones. This time, but Google Pixel 10 has given a tough challenge. The Galaxy S25 weighs only 165 grams, which makes it light and compact. On the other hand, Pixel 10 weighs 204 grams, while the display is only slightly larger 6.3 inches. It provides 1080 x 2424 pixels resolution, 60–120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The special thing is that the peak brightness of Pixel 10 goes up to 3000 notes while the Galaxy S25 is limited to a maximum of 2600 nits.

Performance and Processor

Last time, questions were raised about the performance and battery efficiency on Google’s Tensor chipset. But the new Tensor G5 used in Pixel 10 is made on 3Nm technology of TSMC which promises fast speed and better power management. At the same time, Samsung Galaxy S25 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Processor which is known for excellent performance.

Both companies are also insisting on AI features. Pixel 10 offers tools such as advanced photo editing, zoom and text prediction from on-device generative AI. Samsung offers translation, productivity and camera related features in its Galaxy AI package. Interestingly, the Galaxy device also supports Google’s AI tools, which gives users the benefit of both.

Camera setup

Photography Pixel is considered to be the biggest strength of 10. This time it has a telephoto lens for the first time, which supports 5X optical zoom. The phone includes 48MP primary camera, 10.8mp telephoto lens and 13MP ultra-wide sensor. All cameras support 20X super res zoom and 4k 60fps video recording. Also, AI tools like Camera Coach are also present in it.

The Galaxy S25 has a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide and 10MP telephoto camera, which supports 3x optical zoom. Talking about the front camera, Pixel 10 has a 10.5MP autofocus lens while Galaxy S25 gets a 12MP selfie camera.

Battery and charging

The weight of Pixel 10 is reflected in his battery. It has a battery of about 5000mAh, while the Galaxy S25 has a 4000mAh battery. Pixel 10 is a large upgrade QI2 support of wireless charging standard, which includes Magnetic Power Profile like Apple Magsafe. However, the speed of wireless charging is still limited to 15W. On the other hand, Galaxy S25 has not adopted QI2 but separate accessory support is available for this. Talking about wired charging, Pixel 10 has 30W charging, which is faster than the Galaxy S25.

Price and variants

In India, the price of Google Pixel 10 has been kept at Rs 79,999, in which a single variant with 256GB storage is available. It is available in indigo, frost, lemongrass and obsidian color options. Samsung Galaxy S25 is priced at Rs 80,999 for 12GB + 256GB model and Rs 92,999 for 12GB + 512GB model. It comes in icy blue, silver shadow, navy and mint color options.
