If your phone is Android then open Settings. Scroll down and tap on safety and emergency. Choose wireless emergency alerts. Follow all the alert options.
At the same time, if you are using iPhone, then go to Settings. Tap on notifications. Scroll down and see the Government Alerts section. Turn on Test Alerts.
