The government said that many screen sharing apps, such as Anydesk, TeamViewer, QuickSupport, etc. are being used for cyber criminal fraud. These apps can give real-time access to your phone to someone else, so that your banking activities, OTP and personal information can be easily seen.
How is cheating?
When a user installs screen sharing app, these apps ask for a variety of permission. Most users allow them without thinking. After this, criminals can watch the screen of the user live and can steal sensitive information like OTP and password during banking transactions.

The government has clarified that if any such apps are already installed in your phone, then remove them immediately. Also, do not download these apps again, especially if you use banking or other sensitive services from your smartphone.
