The newly elected President of America Donald Trump has given place to another Indian in his cabinet. Trump has nominated Harmeet Kaur Dhillon, a famous lawyer born in Chandigarh, as the Assistant Attorney General of America. Earlier, Trump had given important responsibilities to Vivek Ramaswamy, Jay Bhattacharya, Tulsi Gabbard and Kash Patel. This shows Trump’s closeness with Indians. But questions are being raised in India about the appointment of Harmeet Dhillon. Experts are calling them supporters of Khalistan. His old tweets are also much discussed.

Why did experts raise questions?
But as soon as the news of his appointment came out, questions started to arise in India. People started sharing her old tweets, in which she is seen supporting Khalistan. Noted strategic affairs analyst Brahma Chelani wrote on social media platform X, ‘India cannot be happy with the announcement of Harmeet Dhillon’s appointment. • Harmeet Kaur Dhillon was born in Chandigarh, Punjab, but moved to America at the age of two.

• Their family settled in North Carolina, then she moved to New York City.

• He received a graduate degree in classical literature from Dartmouth College and a law degree from the University of Virginia.

• US Court of Appeals Judge Paul V. Also worked as a clerk with Niemeier.
