Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta said that Commissioner Gurdwara Elections Justice HS Bhalla has released the schedule for the first general elections of all 40 wards of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee across the state. He said that the general elections will be held on 19 January 2025. The notice inviting nominations will be published on Wednesday, 18 December 2024. After this, nominations will be filled from 20 December to 28 December 2024, scrutiny and sorting of nomination papers will be done on 30 December. Similarly, the last date for submission of application to DC for amendment of Returning Officer’s order is 31st December 2024. A decision on the amendment application will be taken by the DC on 1 January 2025.
