Mumbai. The more colorful the world of films, the more interesting relationships there are. The stars on the screen are completely different, in real life, sometimes they are deeply connected to the relationship of relationships. The relationship between Karisma Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasani is also similar.
Karishma Kapoor stepped into the Hindi cine world as a heroine in 90, while Aftab started a career as a child artist. Looking at the career of both of them, Karisma Kapoor left her studies in the middle to make a career in Bollywood. He started his career with ‘Prem Prisoner’ at the age of just 16, which was released in 1991. Karishma Kapoor then worked with Jackie Shroff in the film ‘Police Officer’ in 1992. Films like ‘Jigar’ and ‘Anari’ recognized her as an actress. In 1994, his career started catching pace with films like ‘Raja Babu’, ‘Khuddar’, ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ and ‘Suhag’. In the 90s, Karishma made a successful pair with Govinda in hit comedy films like ‘Coolie No. 1’, ‘Sajan Chale Sasural’, ‘Hero No. 1’. In 1999-2000, he got applause by playing emotional roles in films like ‘Biwi No. 1’, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Fiza’, and ‘Zubaida’. After 2003, he made a distance from acting, but returned to Dangerous Ishq in 2012. Web series ‘Mentalhad’ in 2020 and ‘Murder Mubarak’ in 2024 stepped into the world of OTT. At the same time, Aftab Shivdasani started a career as a child artist. He appeared in the ‘Farex Baby’ advertisement at just 14 months old and after that he became part of many TV advertisements. In 1999, he made his debut as a hero from Ram Gopal Varma’s film ‘Mast’, for which he received the Zee Cine Award for Best Debut Actor. In 2001, he made a place in the hearts of the audience by playing a negative role in ‘Kasur’ and also achieved Filmfare Nomination. Hit films like ‘Hungama’ in 2003 and ‘Masti’ in 2004 made him a comedy star. Although some films were his flop after this, but hits like the 2012 horror films ‘1920: The Evil Returns’ and Multistarrer ‘Grand Masti’ brought him a comeback. In 2021, he appeared in the web series ‘Special Oms 1.5’, in which his acting was highly appreciated.
