Identified 25 illegal Bangladeshis

Delhi Police has identified more than 25 ‘illegal’ migrants from Bangladesh and started the process of deporting them back. Action has also been taken against a gang in connection with the issuance of fake Aadhaar cards, an official said. He said that these people used to infiltrate from Bangladesh through the Meghalaya border. Special Commissioner of Police (Special CP) Law and Order Madhup Tiwari said that on the orders of Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena, a campaign to identify ‘illegal’ immigrants from Bangladesh is being conducted. He said that following the instructions of the LG, the campaign has been started in which illegal immigrants have been identified and deported. Zone 2 has so far identified more than 25 such illegal immigrants in South Zone and started deporting them. At the same time, the police in the southern district busted the gang, which not only saw their way to India but also caught the people involved. who used to make their Aadhaar cards here illegally. The special CP said that they had to take help of human intelligence and technical surveillance to conduct the operation against ‘illegal’ immigrants. Tiwari said many of them have Bangladeshi ID cards and have also created voter IDs here.
