Now taking a degree from a good college is not enough to get a job. LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky believes that the days of getting a job from a good college have gone. He said that now the degree and diploma in global job market are no longer. Now practical skills, especially, have become necessary to have a skill related to AI. In this rapidly changing time, he has advised students to get practical knowledge instead of degree.
Needs changed due to AI
Talking on the role of AI in the job market, Ryan said that people should learn other skills along with adopting AI. Now the future is not of those who have a degree from a large college or who have studied in the best college. Now it is the time of people who are comfortable, forward thinking, ready to learn and adopting AI tools with time. He said that due to AI, now the needs of companies have changed. This is not a matter of some companies. In every industry, now such people are getting jobs, who can learn new skills and are comfortable in adopting fast changing technology.
AI increased demand for skills
LinkedIn CEO is not the only person to insist on the need for AI. Recently, Microsoft conducted a survey. It revealed that 71 percent of the companies are ready to give jobs to those who have less experiences, but have AI skills. These companies are not worried about experience anymore. 66 percent of the companies said that they will not hire any person who is not aware of AI at all.
